HOPAD Welcomes You!
The HOPAD Children’s Home partners with many organizations whose focus is international volunteering. Many of our volunteers come to us through such organizations after paying large sums, of which, only a small amount finds its way to support the children.
This is why we recommend those
interested in volunteering come to us directly. We suggest a minimum donation based on the prospective volunteer’s means and duration of stay and ensure that all funds contributed will go directly to aid the children.
Volunteers are supported with a clean, simple livings space including a bed, communal bathroom with western toilet, hot water, wi-fi, and homemade, freshly cooked local food daily. If interested, volunteers can also be supported in learning the Nepali language, touring the surrounding temples and tourist sights, and making arrangements for trekking in the mountains.
